Project Spotlight
Printing Wilmington,
One Project at a Time
Colossal signs visible from I-95…
Colorful murals downtown…
Eateries emblazoned with bold art…
These are all signs of Wilmington’s booming downtown development.
Many of the new projects popping up are backed by The Buccini/Pollin Group (BPG) and embellished with graphics—printed, pasted, and installed by PCG.
We’ve loved and been challenged by our decade-long partnership with BPG.
Here are some of our latest projects that have pushed our printing boundaries and added bold color to the face of downtown Wilmington.
BPG x PCG Collaborations in Wilmington
Wilma’s
Installing Within A 7-10 Split Of A Timeframe
The key was installing the mural before the bowling lanes were installed, but after much of the messy construction work was completed.
The team at BPG kept us apprised of their moving timeline so we could plan to print the massive mural, coordinate our installers, and transport our scissor lift as soon as we got the okay.
We got the mural installed in one day when the time came, keeping the project right on schedule. The result is a colorful mural overlooking bright, shiny bowling lanes.
Seeing Red—For Years to Come
15 Foot tall Exterior window graphics draw Market St. passerbys into Wilma’s. Red exterior graphics are prone to fading.
We carefully printed on colorfast material for the best, most long-lasting color. Wilma’s window graphics will easily last 5 years (In fact, we had to remove graphics we installed 9+ years ago to install this mural, and they still looked great!)

76ers Field House
Expertise from the Bench
With PCG, we’ve done our share of large-scale projects—but the 76er’s Fieldhouse’s exterior logo was by far the largest.
We took extra steps to make this large-scale project a success.
- Rigorous testing of specialty material – a specialty vinyl was specified by the architect. We sample tested the material to ensure it would adhere properly.
- Brought expertise from the outside – we brought in a specialty installer we knew and trusted to do the job right.
The 50° Sprint
For this job, there was a pressing timeline—to install the logo before the grand opening in early December (the opening wouldn’t be quite as “grand” with a blank exterior).
But there was another complicating factor: this vinyl material needed to be applied in 50° weather. Due to our testing and early preparation, we were able to take advantage of a few days of warm weather right before Thanksgiving. Everything worked perfectly and the grand opening was, well, grand.
New Prints Keep the Interior Current
The Field House is in play. This means that sponsors and new sports teams are constantly evolving.
We’ve installed murals and logos to reflect ongoing sponsporships and highlight sport teams joining the field house’s ranks.
